Writing Money the Key to Success and Happiness - Essay

Question :
Many teenagers think that money is the key to success and happiness. Do you agree or disagree? Write a 12-line post to be published on your Facebook page in which you express your opinion about the issue. Support your opinion with at least three sound arguments.

Answer :

Many teenagers today think that money is the key to success and happiness, but I respectfully disagree. While having money can make life more comfortable and reduce certain stresses, it doesn’t guarantee true fulfillment or lasting happiness.

First, money can't buy meaningful relationships. The strongest friendships and family bonds are built on trust, loyalty, and shared experiences, not on how much someone earns. These connections give us a sense of belonging and emotional support that no amount of money can replace.

Second, real success comes from personal growth and achievement. Many successful people are not necessarily the richest, but they feel fulfilled because they’re pursuing their passions, learning new skills, or making a positive impact on the world. These achievements often provide a sense of purpose that material wealth simply can’t match.

Lastly, mental and physical well-being are far more important than wealth. Without good health, both physically and emotionally, no amount of money will make someone feel truly happy. Inner peace, a balanced lifestyle, and gratitude are the foundations of a happy life, not the size of one's bank account.

In conclusion, while money is helpful, it’s not the ultimate key to success or happiness. True contentment comes from strong relationships, personal fulfillment, and good health.
