Dear Mom/Dad,
I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share with you about my new friend, who I am excited to introduce you to.
Her name is Sarah, and we met in our Biology class last week. I noticed her because she was wearing a cool t-shirt with a band I love on it. We started talking about music and ended up having a lot in common.
Since then, we've hung out a few times. We went to the mall last weekend and discovered we both love window shopping. We also went to a local coffee shop, and she introduced me to her favorite drink - a caramel macchiato. It was delicious, and I've been craving it ever since.
What I appreciate about Sarah is that she's really down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I feel comfortable being myself around her, and we have a lot of fun together. She's also really smart and helpful with schoolwork. She explained some confusing concepts to me during study group, and I finally understood them.
I'm looking forward to introducing you to Sarah soon. Maybe we can all go out for lunch together this weekend? I think you'll like her as much as I do.
